The Works in Progress Series is a
staple of the Southeast/Southwest
People of Legal Scholarship
Conference, which provides aspiring,
junior, and senior legal scholars an
opportunity to present their current
scholarship in a safe and encouraging
environment. Each presenter is given
a designated time during the
conference to present his/her paper
and will receive commentary from a
designated commentator as well as
session attendees.
We are currently soliciting Works in
Progress presenters and
commentators for the 2012
Southeast/Southwest People of Color
Legal Scholarship Conference. If you
would like to present a Work In
Progress (WIP), please send your
abstract to Professor D. Aaron Lacy
and Professor Areto A. Imoukhuede at
ImoukhuedeA@nsu.law.nova.edu.
The deadline for WIP abstracts is
Friday, January 20, 2012.
If you would like to comment on a WIP,
please also email
ImoukhuedeA@nsu.law.nova.edu with
the subject areas for which you are
willing to comment. A list of subject
areas can be found on the registration
page for the conference at
https://www.acteva.com/go/seswpocc.
